ps Wattie is a wonderful tactician...probably only Fergie has a better uptake on the game than wattie.

My thoughts exactly, his wealth of experience has brought us so much since his return, not to mention what he previously won the first time around.

Well with Lemon going 4-5-1 and Walter going 4-5-1 this season (by the looks of it) we will see who has the better grasp of that formation. I'm gonna go with.....let me think...........horrible we Scum Rat......in Walter we trust.....

WALTER 100% ALL THE WAY

we DOO not have spains inter milans talent
we can not play that system ok be honest how many
games did you watch not counting old firm
the wonderful showing of december }i really enjoyed that we played really attractive attacking football there and did not think the other team no matter how small they they played us of the park
so if he was this wonderful tactation he would know you don't face hamilton at ibrox with 4-5-1

ok i will concede that for negative defensive football he probably has not many peers
and i was over the moon we done 53 but
{yes there is always a but} I'm depressed at the thought of watching that negative crap week in and week out as for the kids and lets face it some are not kids if you are good enough you are old enough

first and foremost I'm a rangers supporter

not a walter smith supporter so i will support the team that's put on the park when the spl starts
as for walters tactics i know i wont like them
but i will get behind the team
so excuse me for wanting the bears to go for it

like walter i dont think any of us will change
and i reserve the right to moan

gotta make provisions for resting weir on reg basis hes just not up to it.
would give captains job to shagger.
not impressed today at all hopefully it was the "only turn up and win attitude" not the tactics walter wanted them to play.
would rather see us go out with the youngsters and try and win by playing entertaining football if we gets beat at least we entertained.
too much negative football at world cup hopefully we are not gonna play that way this season.

I agree with the 4-5-1 formation being so dull the way we play it.

I do think and accept that throughout Europe this is the way forard.

Watching the matches last season and yesterdays nonsense in the puddle, I have to sya that before we can succesafully use this formation we need wingers.

Playing with the 5 that turns into a 3 will never work with Lafferty and Naismith. I like the players, but they will never be wingers or adapt correctly to the position.

If we could get ourselves a couple speedy wingers and this big boy fae viena to play as a lone striker ad be delighted.

After watching that last night I am not to bothered by them. As coisty says they can buy a million players if they want, only put 11 on the pitch ..

No surrender

Just watched the highlights on Rangerstv. Dont understand the doom and gloom about that performance. We had by far the best of the highlights by what I saw in difficult conditions against the Australian double champions. Didn't see Scotland at the WC. Cheer up guys, a lot of positives to take from that game.

Edu had a great chance to score the winner, he's gonna be a big player for us with his runs into the box.

I'm happy with the highlights that I saw.

Walter has a plan. If we can get natural width in the team things will be ok. 4-5-1 should become 4-3-3 but we not got the team for that to work, yet

i accept that most of europe are leaning
towards 4-5-1 system the Spain's, inter milan's,
Barcelona's, and manchester united, of this world
play an attacking 4-5-1

we on the other hand play a very confusing
defending 4-5-1 which is boring as hell to watch
and if he sticks with this system for the season ahead we are going to see a lot of 0-0
because we don't have a boyd to score an early
goal to hang on to or a wee novo to come of the bench and score the winner

but{yes there's always a but} if on the other hand
he is trying to get wingers and he gets them
and reverts to the attacking formation then
i will be a happy chappy

but{yes there's another but}did we not just let
three go burke adams and demarcus

but {christ not another but last one}if he doesn't get wingers he has to play two up front and we
will win the spl at a canter simples
