Andy Kerr, President of the Rangers Supporters Assembly – said, "Following reports in the media today, we wish to reiterate Rangers fans have travelled to many cities successfully in the past - including Manchester in 2003 – and we are confident that will be the case this time. The vast majority of fans who have applied for tickets for the game in Manchester appreciate the arrangements that have been put in place are necessary and are in the best interests of travelling supporters. Our fans are looking forward to a successful and happy occasion and we urge supporters without tickets not to travel to Manchester." |
